Re: [App] Rooting E/F on latest firmwares
I still get tv restart after 2.30 min of any new video file played through network. sometime all commands freezes , After second play of same file everything went ok.
Re rooting samygo, ad re-erasing samygo usb, also cleaning samylog doesnt help.
crash log ? error log ?
otn disabled long time ago
ue42f5300
version 2102
update:
even without usb samygo hack , every new video file restarts tv, with non hack usb plugged in
help
is factory reset of tv safe?

Re: [App] Rooting E/F on latest firmwares
I have the same problem here. ES7080Piddy wrote:Anyone a idee wath i can do?
If I downgrade to 0000 then everithing works fine and I have telnet and ftp acces and oscam work. But when I put my Evolutionkit in then it starts automatic update ( OTN OFF )and then no acces to telnet and Ftp. When I put out the evo kit then is the firmware 2008 on tv.
I need Evo kit for my iptv app it works only with evo kit.
How can I make it woring telnet/oscam/ftp and wiith the evo kit.
Thank You
Re: [App] Rooting E/F on latest firmwares
I have a question regarding preventing OTN update. My router does not support blocking by names, only by IP, or using external DNS service
So, any way to add OTN server names directly to /etc/hosts file ?

Even worse. In /etc/hosts you put dns names for example to block http://www.example.com and ftp.example.com you have to put:zoelechat wrote:Of your router yes, of the TV noLazyG wrote:So, any way to add OTN server names directly to /etc/hosts file ?
Code: Select all
www.example.com 127.0.0.1
ftp.example.com 127.0.0.1
Code: Select all
*.example.com 127.0.0.1
I do NOT support "latest fw" at ALL. If you have one you should block updates on router and wait for it to STOP being "latest":)
If you want me to help you please paste FULL log(s) to "spoiler"/"code" bbcodes or provide link(s) to pasted file(s) on https://pastebin.com Otherwise "NO HELP"!!!
If you want root DISABLE internet access to your device!!!!
