I read that TV automatically switches to 3D if file name has some specific format ? SBS? Or something can anyone confirm that?

Seems to work also on E series, just needed to retag/remux all 3d videos
Actually no, some are playing randomly 3D or not, tagged or not. I should have tried more before talking :D

For me it didn't make an "auto". And you don't need to remux anything it's enough to run this command:

Code: Select all

mkvpropedit --edit track:1 -s stereo-mode=1 VIDEO.mkv
Now TV knows which 3D mode to use (SBS) so when I hit 3D key it doesn't ask me which one to use. Also in 2D mode it displays only single frame (not two side by side) but I still have to enable 3D manually :(

Yeah I also ended in using that command line but I didn't notice the right 3D mode was selected because I was looking for automatic 2D->3D switch, nor that only "one eye" was displayed!?. Does it work on your E or only H?
