Hello,
I've got Samsung HG40EC690 which seems to be E series (?) with hospitality features. I'm new to SmartTV world and would appreciate if you point me to the useful links where I can get more details. I'm interested in SamyGO and want to install third-party widgets in this system.
Screenshot with system information is attached.

Seeing firmware version and Samsung website, it looks more like H series (at least 2014 model), despite its name...
So, I believe there's nothing interesting you can do with it for now.

Of course there is. He should as quickly as possible disable OTN Support in "extended" service menu

Bad news for me

Is there any ongoing development in this direction? Is there any way to install 3rd party widget into the system?

Setting OTN off disables automatic updates, right?

Right, not really "interesting", but necessary if you expect any upcoming hack
ps: About widget installation you may check this app

Also not disabling OTN Support (don't trust "disable auto updates" option in regular menu

) is the only way to expect anything

Thanks! Will have a look at it.

I've just disabled OTN support

found it under Option -> MRT Option -> OTN Support
There're a few other items with OTN in the name under Control -> Sub option -> Option SWU (see screenshot). Do I need to change any of them?

No, the only important one is "OTN Support"

I've downloaded PC Application but the problem is that I couldn't enter into 'developer' mode. As I mentioned this is "special" tv set with hospitality features and there's no Red A button option at the "Samsung Apps" page.

Even without developer mode you should be able to install apps from usb
