Hi All - New to Samsung Smart TV's

Post by saticICE »

Hi All,

I have just upgraded to a 40" Samsung UE40HU6900UX (Series 6/H).

I see it has not been rooted yet, so would like to keep an eye out for any routing instructions.

I have arduino and raspberry Pi's - so if anything like that is useful for anything (testing etc) do let me know.

I am going to look at building an iR blaster using the Pi and an IR kit soon so will be looking into what already exists.

Check your firmware version and as quickly as possible disable OTN Support in service menu :)
I do NOT support "latest fw" at ALL. If you have one you should block updates on router and wait for it to STOP being "latest":)
If you want me to help you please paste FULL log(s) to "spoiler"/"code" bbcodes or provide link(s) to pasted file(s) on https://pastebin.com Otherwise "NO HELP"!!!
If you want root DISABLE internet access to your device!!!!
DO NOT EVER INSTALL FIRMWARE UPGRADE !!!!
