Diferent firmware for UE32F5300

Is it possible to upgrade the UE32F5300 model with firmware for UE32F5500 ?

Yes, because firmware is the same for both models, but best option is still not to upgrade.

Thank you for your prompt response. I have read that model F5500 supports Screen Mirror, and my TV (F5300) is not supported. I'd like to upgrade to get that option. As for root access, it's not necessary.

It's not the matter of upgrading but a matter of changing model in service menu (which may brick your TV). Also your hardware may not support this feature

Both models are the same. The only diference is support for wi-fi, i.e. the integrated suport in the F5500.

Yeah because one has wi-fi and other doesn't have. Also one has a chip for CloneView/SmartView and other doesn't have it
