I am kind of confused how the Using NoN-Samsung USB WiFi dongles with TV works, there are two ways right, for one you need the rt set chipsets but I am confused about the second one - for the Installing new drivers (kernel module) for your WiFi dongles (this requires to install some programs to TV, which is more complicated) way:

can I buy any wifi adapter and follow the Compiling Custom Kernel Modules that supports e2p for Hardware Hack steps to make it compatible for samsung tv? or it just works on rt chipsets wifi adapter only? could any clarify

I am new to this forum but i guess you can only use rt2870 chipset wifi dongles since the TV has only drivers for it.
