Hello
I am new to this forum and i purchased a new Samsung TV (ue40h5570as), i was surprised when i recorded some tv programs on an external hard disk that these recordings are encrypted, i have bought the TV especially to record hd videos and store them in my pc but it's not the case.
The files i recorded are stored in a folder called CONTENTS and they are (for one recording) :
.PVRPfmChkLog
20141126103743.cip
20141126103743.inf
20141126103743.mdb
20141126103743.srf
20141126103743.ss
I accessed some of them in hexadecimal mode in Hiew but i did not succeed to find a hidden key, some of the files are encrypted so i am not sure if these files contains the key for decryption, i need your help to let me decrypt the srf file.
Thank you !

On TV in service menu disable OTN Support and be patient

That's the only way to have your files decrypted

UE means European LED model, your "serie" is H that's why I moved your question to the right place.
ps: Look around, you'll be surprised there are many infos about Samsung TVs

I didn't find the OTN Support activation option in System Menu, i found only the choice to software update (my version is 2116), another thing when i click the smart button i can't access all the categories.

"Software update" is bulshit. You have to disable OTN Support without it forget about anything

Also OTN Support is NOT in System Menu it's in SERVICE MENU. Google or click (RED) link under my post... Ehh is it still to small?

Oh ok i didn't pay attention to this

i have read the wiki page then i tried to access the Service Menu using
[MENU] [MUTE] [POWER] but nothing happened and the TV keep turned off, i didn't understand the part where they talk about unlocking extended Service menu, why in this TV model there is no advanced configuring like others ?
Do they mean by unlocking that i will be able to have access to advanced configuring but in the moment it stays disabled ? My Smartphone is lucking the IR transmitter may be there is another magic combination of buttons like the one quoted
