Hello ALL,

Just to let you know i am really dissapointed, i bought a LED SAMSUNG UE55H6400 but the sound is played as DTS NEO but not DTS DIGITAL with HMDI !

Here is my configuration :

DECODER NUMERIC HDMI 1.4 > TV > FIBER OPTION on TV > AMPLI and the result is DTS NEO or PCM !!!
If i connect a USB Key it works in DTS DIGITAL without any trouble.

I called SAMSUNG SUPPORT but they are not able to give me any correct answer and told me to connect my DECODER NUMERIC to the FIBER OPTIC of the amplifier :(

I have found many forums that explain this same situation :

http://www.hdfever.fr/forum/viewtopic.p ... &start=770

...
The only solution i found was to buy a HDMI Switch :
http://www.ebay.com/itm/4X1-HDMI-Switch ... 682wt_1124
http://www.octavainc.com/HDMI%20switch% ... t_pro.html

I you have any idea i would buy another TV and refund this one.

Regards
David

The statement is simple: No Samsung TV supports HDMI audio passthrough.
HDMI switch is one solution I've personnally tried but not satifsfying from my point of view because it involves many other problems (HDMI-CEC, ARC, desync... issues)
If you want a TV doing HDMI passthrough, buy a Sony! :D
