USB ports and LAN port stopped working on my UA55C6900 LED TV . when i attempt a network test in main menu i got this message :
"The MAC address is not valid .Contact a local Samsung customer service"
The MAC address shows a long line of zeros !
And when connecting any storage via USB1 or USB2 i got this message :
"No external storage device found. Check the connection status"
though the connected hdd light will light on. all other TV functions works normally .
PS : the standby led will not light up when TV is off and connected to the AC since this issue happened
Factory default did not helped .
Is there a way to fix this without shipping this huge TV to Samsung local service ?
Thanks in advance.

seem your mainboard is damaged. If TV is under warranty, call service, if not, search for spare mainboard replacement.

LAN Port directly at xDSL Modem? this is somwhere at the border between brave and dumb

do this with a win xp sp0 machine and i will be raped by the internet in a few seconds... XD
To get the part number of your tv you could simply search for mainboards compatible with ua55c6900 or you open your tv and have a look at your MB...

@beatfreak . Internet won't damage a smart TV , does it?
The wired connection between xDSL modem and the TV was my fault ,hence the problem occurred. The connected modem were damaged by a lightning strike .TV's Lan interface have been broken all the way.... But I'm wondering why USB ports were the other victim

(The HDMIs are all Okay ) ,that makes me think that it can be fixed.

don't think of it as a tv, its a computer with arm-cpu and linux-os and well, a dvb tuner onboard
if it is due to a lightning damage then it would be enough if the usb controller chip is closer to the lan controller than the hdmi related chips to have it damaged also

Sorry if this sounds ridiculous. But is this particular damaged USB controller chip can be replaced ?
