UE32H5070 - Anynet or other things?

Hi All,

first of all, I am very happy to found this forum. Very nice, useful and interessting.

My Problem:
I guess I bought worlds 1st modern TV Model without HDMI CEC.
I recently bought an UE32H5070 for our bedroom. Connected an Raspi with XBMC. But unfortunately this peace of ... TV does not support Anynet+ / CEC.
I went into Service Menu (info .... standby) and found few interessting things, but nowhere Anynet. Then I saw I need Factory and 3Speed.
Ok, quickly build one with my Iphone (add 1 sec. silence infront of the WAV's or it will not work due to fade in.) however, I was able to access the called advanced service menu (few options more available now)
But I still can not access the Advance menu item at the very bottom in the Service menu. It is white, but if I click on OK nothing happens.
What Can I do here?
Which known options are available for this model in order to enhance the TV a little bit?
WIthout anynet / CEC it kind a useless for me so I think about to send it back. Never heared about before that modern TVs does not have CEC.

hope someone can help a bit?

Thanks.
JB

Not sure it will make any HDMI-CEC option available though :)

Thank you very much. :-)

after 4 x 0 on Advance, I have now few more options, 3d and so on. But no anynet / cec etc ---
If I click ok on Advance, still nothing happens. Dont know if this is normal behaviour. This thing is full of easter eggs :)

If someone have any hint how to get HDMI CEC / Anynet on this TV actived, please let me know.

Many Thanks in advance.

JB

I have a question regarding Anynet / CEC. Is there no chance to get CEC working on UE32H5070 ? Is there any alternatives so switch on / off the TV? This is the only piece I am missing. I thought about a solution via remote RF power sockets. I want to use the raspberry pi gpio ports for it, if there is no other chance to get something like CEC working... Hope someone can give me good tipps...
