Mounting SMB shares without virtual usb possible?

Hy there!
I'm wondering if it is possible to Access smb Shares without the virtual usb device. this usb nag Screen every tv Startup is a Little bit annoying.

Possible. Disable vusb.init and your shares will be mounted to attached usb. Be sure it is writable, e.g. fat32 or ext4...

Is there a way to mount the smb share faster so that there is no pop up, similar to the way inserted usb sticks don't show?

as i said already - disable 02_02_vusb.init and mount smb or network shares to attached root USB.

I have been looking for a solution to this also, I thought maybe it was just the way things were!

Please advise how to disable 02_02_vusb.init, its location if necessary, and how to mount smb or network shares to root USB?
Is there a reason the annoying popup is not turned off by default, and is there any disadvantage to doing so?

just rename /mnt/init.d/02_02_vusb.init to 02_02_vusb.init.dis

...and change DEST_DIR value in samba script to a path on physical usb (=rooting usb if you want) e.g.:
