Unbricking last step - EEPROM found - Model greyed out!

Dear all,
after a sleepless night I'm now stuck in the (hopefully) last stage of unbricking my UE55C8000... It was stuck in a reboot look after I set the wrong model in the service menu.
I managed to find the EEPROM on the back of the mainboard and short the circuit. I do so while the TV is in it's reboot loop.
Afterwards, I get the warning, that I need to set the new values in the service menu.
(if I then remove the short circuit and enter the service menu, I get back into the reboot loop -- so I leave it)
I use info-menu-sleep-power to enter the service menu -- there I can set the Type (55A2UF8E), the Tuner (T2) and the Colour (Milky) -- but I can't set the Model -- this one is greyed out with a UC7700 instead of UC8000.
Do I have to send Factory+3Speed to unlock the model?
If so, I'm using the ruSamsungTVCommunicator for that -- it works fine after updating the network settings in normal TV mode -- but as soon as I enter the service menu, I get a TCP error. I guess due to the short circuit?
Does anybody have an idea how to solve that dilemma?
Many many thanks!
Thomas
