Hi everyone. Im a noob here. My name is Sham and i'm from Singapore. I have a Samsung Smart 3D TV model UA40H6400. Below is a screenshot of my device info.

I know that the root method doesn't says that my firmware is rootable but I'm just curious as i tried the method post, it says that SamyGo activated just like the picture shown below.

Im using a windows laptop, Windows 8.1, using WinSCP, try to ftp access my tv and i can't. And I wonder did I managed to root it or i don't? Sorry for this noob question. Any helps is greatly appreciated.

I think you didn't root your TV because you didn't disable OTN Support ASAP

OTN is already disabled.

Okay. It is also good idea to idea to disable OTA Support. Do you have any linux/rooting experience ?

Sorry for late reply. Im a noob in linux but I have done rooting on Android/IOS. Hope that helps.
