Hi,

I've got a 48HU7500 and DVB-T2 is not availble on this TV bought in France whereas the same TV bought in other european countries supports it.

This is really a pity as experimental UHD/HEVC/DVB-T2 streams are currently broadcasted in Paris for Roland Garros tennis competition.

Do you know if we can activate DVB-T2 support by software (in service mode) or if it is an hardawre issue (different hardware from one country to another) ?

Most likely missing hardware tuner, sorry.
French TVs will support DVB-T2 as soon as the "CSA" will decide whole population have AGAIN to buy new hardware

Nevertheless I will have a look to the service mode and try to change, if possible, the value to DVB-T2.

I've cheked in service menu and the TUNER is set to : D_TCS2
It is possible to select another value, which I guess is done for DVB_T2 : D_T2CS2

So, do you think there is a risk of brick if I change the TUNER value from D_TCS2 to D_T2CS2 ?

OK. One additionnal question :
I can change the value of TUNER using the left/right arrows of my standard infrared remote control.

But how to save the new selected value ?

Once you did left/right it's saved, that's why you have to be very careful in service menu.

any updates?did it work for you?i ahve one tv,that is from France and i dont have DVB T2

Hi,

I've changed the value to D_T2CS2 but I'm not sure it was saved.
When I swith off/switch on the TV, the value is reverted to D_TCS2 in the service menu

Any idea ?

maby we need to change region aswell?
