I just realized that my TV does not respond to the 4-bottom code on the wiki page to disable the OTN... I pres the bottoms and the TV just boots regularly on... Is their a different way to disable the OTN on this specific model?

You need to get into the service menu, but you MUST BE VERY CAREFUL, if you change a setting incorrectly, you will have urself an expensive paper-weight. ive got similar model tv as you, and i found out the hard way. luckily mine was still under warranty. with that said, to get into the service menu, power off the tv. using the remote, press the following keys in sequence: Mute, 1, 8, 2, then the power button. if it didnt work, then you didnt do it fast enough or you pressed 2 keys at the same time. you dont have to do it super fast, just make sure u dont hesitate between key presses. the tv will boot up like normal at first, then a menu will appear in the top left corner of the screen. be careful when navigating thru the service menu, ALWAYS use the RETURN or EXIT key to back out of a setting selection.

give me your firmware version, its located at the beginning of the service menu. it might start with t-nt14xxxxx
also, try navigating through the entire service menu and look for any other OTA or OTN settings, sometimes they are in more than one section.

Hopefully this information will be helpful for you to assist me with finding a solution...
Software Version: T-NT14MAKUC-1122.3
Sub-micom Version: T-NT14MAUSS-1001
E-Manuel: NMATSCH+1.104
Smart Hup Version 6.1711
Model Code: UN55H6203
I did see an OTA Support tap but I read specifically that it said to look for OTN. Are they both the same?
btw I don't have Skype on my Smart Hub and it's also not available in a the app store for this model...

OTA= over the air OTN= over the network u want both set to OFF at all times. and DO NOT accept any updates, upgrades or anything like that, dont even accept updated apps, just to be on the safe side. As far as not having skype, lol you are in the same boat i am. skype will not work on your tv, so for now just be patient. They are working on root for tv's with our firmware, but theres no telling how long it will be before it happens. Good things come to those who wait PATIENTLY.

Is there no resource where one can download apps for Samsung and install it via USB?
