Hi Guys, I have a Ip webcam to check my baby room working great for almost 1 year, after the update of the web browser of Samsung tv,it doesn?t work anymore,it become black. After 2 months useless exchanging mails with Samsung support I became aware that I was only loosing my time.So I did a hard reset hoping my web browser lost the update but the web browser kept the update version.I updated as well the firmware and I read in this forum is a bad thing, too late and was useless. Guys any ideas, others browser or everything you want? I bought my TV only for that.
TV model UE55F6740
firmware 2107

Run ubuntu with full Firefox. Link on forum and you need to figure out by yourself what needs to be fixed in order to make it work on F. Good luck

of course you need to root. Than read forum and do NOT expect help since it's "virgin ground"

I'm not a Developer so I think I have to give up.I was hoping a browser to install and that's all.If I have to code or check in the code or the configurations, is too complicated for me.Thanks anyway.

Depending on your webcam model you might be able to see video as a h264 stream. By default all webcams with a web interface use a mjpeg stream - which might be broken in the browser. If you can get a h264/mpeg4 stream from the camera, maybe there's a way to play that instead...
