Disable firmware update nag

My uncle recently received a new tv as a present. It's a Samsung H6200 if I remember correctly. He does not have any internet connection, but he does have digital cable tv.

It's now nagging about updates even though I disabled OTN/OTA a few weeks ago. This screen pops up by itself from time to time, so it is very annoying. Does anybody know whether there is a solution for this?

Hi, this is an update from your tv provider (ziggo) to update the ci+ module. (Ci+ 1.3?)
This is not a samsung firmware update.
Only to update the ci+ module.

P.s. you know the h6200 can enable the bluetooth for the samsung smart remote? Great gadget for this tv.
Also gives it voice control :)

Cheers!

There's an option in CI menu to disable such popup. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to be fully reliable, but worth the try.
Btw, not everybody here understands... Dutch I guess :)

Ah that's good to know. Thank you very much!I expected it to upgrade the TV's firmware. It's indeed Dutch, I assumed that these screens would look similar otherwise in other languages.

I'm not sure whether my uncle would use any special features, but it's good to know the tv can support them!
