Keep Root after unplugging USB

Hello,

i did the Rooting with the Thread in the Donors Section, it worked fine.
But I want to keep Root/SamyGo after unplugging my USB Stick, because i want to keep having access via FTP/TelNet.

It is annoying, that i have to reinstall everything when i accidently unplug the USB, or it is a really slow stick and when you turn off TV it takes too long to start with root access or it looses root again.

Is this installation possible?

thanks

Yeah sure. Simply use something like this: SUPER ANTY-"ACCIDENTALLY UNPLUG USB" SOLUTION.
:)

Create a small FAT partition with rooting files on your "permanently plugged media device" then you don't need anymore any "easy-unplug-slow USB key" :)

well the intention is completely far away.
Other "humans" :D could unplug it unauthorized, so there is a danger.

still, would be cool to have a solution in future tho ;)

Well tape is only temporary you can build wooden or even metal box around TV so NOBODY will unplug it. Nobody is stopping you from modifying :)

can be concidered yes, but i thought its a skype app hack more than a firmware issue

What I meant is: using (E/F) Skype hack you don't need any permanently plugged USB key (cf. topic title ;) ), nothing more...

I know that, but i dont want to downgrade for that. Its easier with a ducktape tho.

Another idea is, you could create the app as widget on a develop server, so we have the app permanent (synced from server) without needing a USB. And also we have literally root access, haven't we? Why shouldn't it be possible to keep the root with some datachanges. Creating a SamyGo virtual store internally instead on USB. Don't know the techniques tho. Didnt get the reasons explained also, so im just wondering. :)
