surely a stupid question:

i watch tv (dvb-t2 with decrypt card) in austria, netflix, youtube many hrs a day
i saw that tv relativ get warm/hot.
is it better (lower cpu use) use the app of youtube or within browser?
make it sense to play videos in lower resolution?

Using the app should be more efficient than using the browser, because the app benefits from hardware decoding and doesn't stress the main cpu
