I wonder if any tech exist that reads subtitles for blind people and send it to braille machines to let them read in real time.
If not, why not we make it one?

Well if "reads subtitles" (in other words "convert" to sound ) what is the point in sending (converting once again to text) to some "braille machine"

I don't get the point

I mean reading programmatically, (in other words just f=open("subtitle.txt").read() in python )

Ehhh I am more and more confused

translate.google.com -> click? One of THOUSAND screen reader apps? Use iOS/Android with "read everhting on screen". Open text file in ANY text editor on Mac/Windows and use "read everything on screen" option ?

I just offered a way to let blind people to watch any film "with subtitles" using their braille machines...Does it really hard to understand that?
Why do you confuse things with "read everything on screen" apps on iOS/Android?. Can you watch a movie with them?

Does braille machine have usb connection or whatever connection to be used together with tv?
Erdem, how do you imagine this setup? Do blind people watch movies??? Usualy they listen to audio stories, books... but movies... blind? I dont get the idea. Is this feature requested by some certain blind people or this is your idea?

Here many channels have audio description track, most of them even replaced 5.1 surround track by that one. A bit "too much" IMHO, I concluded there must be more blinds than audiophiles

I think erdem wants "something different" because even in auto magical "do NOT switch to audio description audio channel" and use "subtitles.txt" read at loud there is still some place you have to connect "braile machine". Maybe he means death-blind people? They can ONLY use "braile machines"...

Blind people (with %0 view) could listen the movie (also in dubbed another language with native language subtitles) and read with their fingers.
Also if movie is dubbed in blinds native language, he can perceive words that missed by ears due noises on movie....
I just offered that due it is simple to do and AFAIK none made such an implementation.
We don't need it since have working eyes but might it's good to use such a thing for blinds.
