Good afternoon,

Would anybody know the location of the EEPROM to reset with jumper wire on

Samsung BN96-11526A Main Board for LN40B540P8F Samsung TV ?

I don't want to reset the wrong EEPROM trying to resolve a firmware upgrade issue...

If anyone needs to see a picture of the board...i could upload if need be.
(but a quick search on GG for bn96-11526a will show it)

Hello,

I decided to try the closest EEPROM to the upgrade plug & SoC, welded 2 wires to VCC and SDA connected to a switch.(GRD not used)
Started with defaults, enter service menu. etc. Problem solved !

Took a few pics to show which one is the right EEPROM.
(it may help others as this forum helped me understand a bit more about Samsung TV's)
