I did a factory reset on my TV. After that the SmartTV intro was played and the setup wizard came up. Unfortunatelty I had to abort the wizard on step 3 (download of the smarthub agreement), so i powered off the tv. After a while I powered the tv back on and the wizard jumped directly to step 3, but freezes and reboots and jumps to step 3 directly again and so on.

Is there any chance to skip the wizard or reset the tv again?

Be more precise, tell you did factory reset after applying latest rooting method and you took the risk despite warning:

Exact same experience, unfortunately you'll understand your TV is bricked, sorry.

Yep thats exactly what happend to me. Lesson learned, fortunately enough my retailer agreed to return the tv, so I guess I got lucky this time.

To my defense, all that happend to me before the note was added, but nevermind this is nobody but mines fault, I knew the risk.

May I ask: Why is factory resetting a brick risk? Is this only valid
for rooted TVs or also for non-rooted?

Of course it's due to root, cheating some early script sometimes seems to bother TV after factory reset. No idea exactly why, you're "only" the 2nd brick amongst dozens non-followers-of-warning
