Re: telnet working, exLink not
I got unreadable outputs too sometimes, but just on the first Poweron after connecting the cable. A reboot or two usually fixed it. PL2303 shouldn't be a problem here (@juuso, this isn't a TTL converter. It just emulates a COM Port via USB. This is uncritical in this case, since timing isn't that r...

Re: PVR+ 3.x
You just need to start only loader.so from pvr directory. I saw this advise many time but never seen guide how to start ".so" module in SamyGO.sh script. I guess that there is some command which will start it but I'm not advanced user. Can anybody put example here please. This is very com...

Re: telnet working, exLink not
i had no problem understanding this and soldering it.. but i had to look for the pin usage of "com" port (d-9) on wikipedia to get which pin corresponds to Rx,Tx, Gnd... the cable and the usb/rs232 converter are working fine... and i get some output of the B series CI+ device - but encodin...

Re: telnet working, exLink not
We don`t use any rs232 or pl2303 ttl converters on B series. Look at the schematics - direct wiring to com port is needed. the com port is a rs232 interface. i only have usb on my pc so i need this conversion from usb to rs232 as "com - port".. so the pl2303 is doing this conversion and i...

Re: telnet working, exLink not
http://wiki.samygo.tv/index.php5/Enable_Serial_Console_on_non_CI%2B_Devices have not found an article for B series and CI+ but i thought it should be not that different... there it tells me: Solder yourself ( or buy ) an Ex-Link serial cable to connect to your Samsung TV. If you like you can also b...
