The TV motherboard has been replaced by Samsung.

Samsung confirmed that the problem was in the firmware update system, something went wrong at some point and the TV bricked.
Fortunately the replacement was covered by warranty and I didn't have to pay anything.

Thank you again. I've just called Samsung support.
I'll try to keep this thread updated as a reference for other users who may experience the same problem.
