BD-J4500R/XU Cinavia removal

Current software version is B-JM53CBSPWWB-1011.0. Is it possible to fix this cinavia problem. It will stop my 70 year old father bugging me!! :D

Im on the same boat as you. And sorry to necro post... But my mother is having the same issues.
Im sure by now you solved your problem. But I hope someone can help me fix this crap...

Jeah, but you first need root :)
I do NOT support "latest fw" at ALL. If you have one you should block updates on router and wait for it to STOP being "latest":)

If you want root DISABLE internet access to your device!!!!
DO NOT EVER INSTALL FIRMWARE UPGRADE !!!!
