A little problem with my TV

Post by yoco »

Hy! I have LE40B652! Now this isn't exactly a problem, it's just this happened for the first time and I don't know what caused it and I don't like it! :|
So it goes like this, I watch all movies or tv shows on my TV. I copy everything on USB key, plug in and watch. Every video files before watching the icons look like this

and after I watch it the icons look like this

But for some reason now after watching the icon doesn't change. It stays like this no matter what kind of video file I watch (avi, mkv, mp4)!!!

Does anyone have any idea what could cause this?

The thumbnails are stored in the TV under directories for each Volume (V0, V1, etc.)

I think it's possible this can happen if you disconnect a drive without using the "Remove Safely" menu option.

Maybe you can delete the directory for this Volume and start again.

Read the Wiki for Telnet access.
The directories can be found at mtd_contents.
e.g.

Code: Select all

# ls mtd_contents

---------- 1 root 0 131072 Jan 1 1980 $RFS_LOG.LO$
---------- 1 root 0 8192 Jan 1 1980 RFS_POOL.SY$
drwxr-xr-x 4 root 0 8192 Jan 1 1980 V0
drwxr-xr-x 2 root 0 8192 Jan 1 1980 V1
drwxr-xr-x 4 root 0 8192 Jan 1 1980 V3
drwxr-xr-x 9 root 0 8192 Jan 1 1980 V4
drwxr-xr-x 5 root 0 8192 Jan 1 1980 V5
drwxr-xr-x 2 root 0 8192 Jan 1 1980 database
If you start an ftp server on the TV (check Wiki for details), then you can browse the contents through
ftp://192.168.1.10
or whatever your TV address may be.
