Hey guys,
just an idea:
why not transfering the entire Samsung Software to the recycle bin and loading a custom OS upon booting the TV?
I remember that there is something like that with the linux based DVB-T Receiver Siemens M740.
Wouldn't that solve many problems?

Re: getting rid completly of Samsung OS
Can't you guess why?
We don't have required drivers to control TV's hardware.
If you are talking about using TV as a dummy box, without TV capabilities, than we could.
But who want to use TV as a NAS device?
