Hello:

I tried the script telnet.sh, because I have a UE32B6000 (without the Content Library option).

The first time the script return the error:

Code: Select all

"# sh +x /dtv/usb/sda1/DumpMaker/telnet.sh
Start !!!
Killed
SW image is stopped..
Starting pid 393, console /dev/ttyS1: '/bin/sh'
-sh: id: not found"
The second time the script finish ok and reboot the tv after two-three minutes.

In the USB the dumps are this (du -ha):

4,0K ./dumpmaker.log
13M ./stl0_12_dump
27M ./stl0_13_dump
0B ./stl0_14_dump
0B ./stl0_15_dump
0B ./stl0_16_dump
0B ./stl0_17_dump
4,0K ./sysinfo.log

It's ok?

The sysinfo.log contents are:

Code: Select all

Seems like I must replace the command "bml.dump" (not in my system) for a simple "cat". Isn't true?

I`m sorry. T-CHL5DEUC isn`t supported, because of other partition structure...
Sure, here isn`t any bml tool on board and to make dumps i have to rewrite script.
I understand, tha some US models (egUNB8000) are not fuly dumped even it has content library.
Thx for reply, juuso.
But for T-CHL5DEUC with a simple "cat" to all partitions doesn't work fine?. I can rewrite the script if it's ok :)

Example:

Code: Select all

#Start dump partitions

echo " " >> $LOG 2>&1
echo "[`date +%H:%M:%S`] USB found: $USB" >> $LOG 2>&1
	echo "[`date +%H:%M:%S`] START dump bml0/1" >> $LOG 2>&1

# Just replace the bml.dump for a cat with redirections to USB and Log file

#bml.dump /dev/bml0/1 $USB/bml0_1_dump 2>> $LOG
cat /dev/bml0/1 > $USB/bml0_1_dump 2>> $LOG

	echo "[`date +%H:%M:%S`] End"	>> $LOG 2>&1

	echo "[`date +%H:%M:%S`] START dump bml0/2" >> $LOG 2>&1
#bml.dump /dev/bml0/2 $USB/bml0_2_dump 2>> $LOG
cat /dev/bml0/2 > $USB/bml0_2_dump 2>> $LOG
	echo "[`date +%H:%M:%S`] End"	>> $LOG 2>&1

	echo "[`date +%H:%M:%S`] START dump bml0/3" >> $LOG 2>&1
#bml.dump /dev/bml0/3 $USB/bml0_3_dump 2>> $LOG
cat /dev/bml0/3 > $USB/bml0_3_dump 2>> $LOG
	echo "[`date +%H:%M:%S`] End"	>> $LOG 2>&1

...

If we need the partition structure with a "cat /proc/partitions" we have the information, am I right?. Example:

Code: Select all

for i in $( cat /proc/partitions ); do
	echo item: /dev/$i |grep sda
done
Thanks in advance :)

sure, you can rewrite it by yourself :)
here you need not only change bml to cat, but specify stl partitions too You do not need all dumps of /proc/partitions , we do not need it all.
As you can see it is bml1-11 and stl 12-17 in v.0.1 script,
in T-CHL5DEUC case should be bml1-9 and stl10-13.
I agree, code is very basic, but it works ;)
for i in $( cat /proc/partitions ); do
echo item: /dev/$i |grep sda
done
sure, you can, but as i said, it isn`t worth to copy everything from tv..., but here script becomes more universal...

Thx, juuso :)

Just one question: The stl* partitions seems good dump with the script in T-CHL5DEUC (use the command "cat" for some particular reason?)

For bml and stl dump you can use cat (or dd if you want.). It does not matter what tool you use in this case, files you get are identical.

Sorry luc001 but, where is the file dump_b6000.sh? I can't find that inside the SG_DumpMaker app.
