hhm, for me it works with samygopvr (which has been renamed recently to SamyApp) but not PVR+ on a 40B750 CI+

-Do you have a writable destination to store the records to configured correctly in pvr.ini ?
-Do you have a firmware installed, which still has PVR enabled? (it has been removed from 3xxx firmware afaik)

Yes, if you use the 3001.1 firmware, here is no more PVR code in it.

I don't think, that you "loose" the signal. It more sounds like exeDSP crashes after you start recording.

Try to start recording with telnet connected and see if there is still a process called exeDSP once you press REC.

BTW you are aware, that you can only Record channels from the Digital Tuner (DVB-C)?

You have really weird problem.

Do you tried to record TV show via Exlink using "Top Debug Menu"?
If you can record your Encrypted channels with it means something wrong with PVR app.
