Because there is closed source executable exeDSP needed to changed in binary.
Requires low level knowledge about ARM architecture, lots of debugging and hacking...

I think It's not quite possible. It requires altering a remote controller button for that command. Hard to make it in closed source binary. Specially there is an option to make it in menu. I think Its better to change your habit. :)

Who tell you that we are trying to make things for normal people?
It's a guide for hackers. Developers. You look like try to harvest crops before seeding.
The things that you called as sh*t makes the way available to implement those features. For example, you can't invent a light bulb if you have no electricity.
Tools like telnet, nfs mount, we can execute exeDSP in gdb debugger, that really precious thing to reverse engineer that utility...

Dear Erdem,

Regarding your last post in this thread, I couldn't agree more.

BTW, I'd love to see my sammy play ISO-dvd images just like that, without any conversion whatsoever. Just rip my dvd's to NAS and play them over NFS.
should be doable with the right codec and libdvdcss/libdvdread I guess.
