C630 T-VAL6DEUC - any hope left?

Hi,

I think the subject says it all - is there still a hope for C630 T-VAL6DEUC to be hacked?
To be honest - the only feature I actually need, is playing files from network shares (to avoid using lame DLNA).

As far as I understand, methods used for other C models (USB/Hotel Mode/SSH tricks) doesn't work?

Maybe it's somehow possible to hack it via "update firmware via internet" feature (which lately annoys me, by showing a pop-up message once a day, asking to allow update to a new version).. Sniffing traffic (to find out where updates are retrieved from, and URL where TV checks if new version is available) would probably be easy. But I guess updater downloads whole firmware (not just some modifications/patches, which would probably be better for us), probably even the same file that is available for download at end-user Samsung support site. In that case, if I'm not mistaken, it's encoded and therefore no modifications are possible?

There is always a way to walk for your purposes. If some one try and try again, than device cannot resist much...
Main question is, does anyone trying to hack it? I don't know.

Well, this is good news for me anyway - the part, that someone did a lot of tests
This indicates, that there are people who need it and/or are interested in achieving it.
Ant that means, that there probably still is some hope left. Aciu
