Skype on C6xxx

Skype on TV is widget. If your TV has Internet@TV function, most probably you could use skype. If not -sorry.

Dear all,

Is it possible to install skype app on C6710? Serie 7+ has it and the hardware is pretti much the same but samsung limited the installation only to serie 7 or above..
any Ideas?

For install Skype change in the service mode the model to uc7000 then switch off the tv turn on start internet @ tv and automatically starts the downlaod of skype.
It works on ue32c6000

I think you should add

Code: Select all

to config.xml of widget you want to keep.

Another way is to use Denny`s tool.

to avoid samsung internet@tv to delete every installed widget by store change. start run on each power on (for example : inside of samyGO start scrypt).
or just run it by call ./widget_convert

as all widgets will be user widgets, icons that widget manager will look for is in user directory, so you need just symbolic link /mtd_rwcommon/widgets/user to /mtd_rwcommon/widgets/normal.

to increase number of widgets as you in TV have just aprox : 300mb, you can move /mtd_rwcommon/widgets to usb stick and make a symbolic link to usb storage. by this way i was abel to install nearly 500 widgets with total capacity of 4 Gigabytes.

should work on UxYYCYYYY serie.
