Removing hack from TV

1. Samygo all extensions let you connect over SSH instead of using telnet.
2. Hack is fully to remove over exlink only
3. Downgrading firmware does not remove hack.
4. It is not safe. It is written on wiki
I removed this image, to don't distribute potentially dangerous method. But you can follow another manual, where is no danger to brick the TV. But here is only run.sh executed. No web interface and other stuff.

Search for Nokia CA-42 on dealextreme, for just about 3 USD you get it. All what you need is to rebuild it for your needs.
AFAIK you can dissable telnet and leave just on the SSH connection. But I can be wrong, might other users know better.

Yes, i made it for my needs. Actually, not for C series tv, but as serial cable to restore my bricked fonera router. I'm pretty sure it works for you as well.

All what you need is pinout of CA-42 to connect to VGA 4,7,11 pins as shown on our wiki page. No magic



Sure, you can always buy any other usb to ttl converter from e-bay. It is up to you which one to use.
