Looks like you were right, soldered a audio port to the spare connections and I still don't get any output which is really annoying. Starting to run out of ideas on how to possibly get shell access on this TV.
Does anyone with a b550 TV and hackable firmware know the model number of the PCB inside the TV? I currently have a:
SATURN4_550
BN41-01258B
just thinking that if I can get the PCB model number from a hackable version I can buy a spare one from somewhere and replace mine with it.

Yes, you can. Might you could get PCB from B650 non CI? Think about that if you are really going to buy.

do you know the specific model number of a b650 PCB? It's quite hard to find one without it.

Probably. I know that C550 TV became to C650 after changing PCB.
Sure, here could be some kind of problems too: socket places on back cover does not fit exact, must be adapted. Basically it could work.
LCD frequency is important too (50Hz or 100Hz).
Might anyone knows better. Look at specifications of models... It is worth to try.

Different ports on the back shouldn't be a problem, I can just cut holes in the plastic for the new ones.
Checked out some of the b6** TVs and they're all 120hz screens which would mean if I want to replace my PCB with a different one I would probably have to go with a b530 instead and downgrade which I don't want to do. I might buy a b6** PCB anyway and give it a go as they're only about £50. Hopefully it will be able to cope with a lower Hz.

Don`t buy a CI+ PCB, only CI if you`re going to use SamyGO.

Ok so I've got a LE40B652T4WXXU PCB on order which I believe it CI, will post back with results when I get it
