Now, just keeping samba.init, I can browse the content without any problem.

I have to confirm this with my second Serie D TV.

And I think I don't have to do the test you asked for. The problem is not where we thought.
Ok, test done with my second TV and it works with only samba.init !

Now, I have a question from a linux newbie. I have a ServerA with ShareA1, shareA2, shareA3, shareA4. Is-it possible to set the init in a way I get only ShareA2 and shareA4 from ServerA ?
And If I have also a ServerB with ShareB1, ShareB2 and ShareB3, how to add this one with ShareB1 and ShareB3 ?

Thanks.
all is possible then you have a rooted tv...
so you need to learn a bit bash scripting and then you can make you own scripts and place them in <widgets_directory>SamyGO/etc/init.d/ directory.
or you modify the existing ones to not use all shares (for this you need to learn a bit more bash...)

so it's up to you :)

Although I looked at the threads thoroughly, I got confused;
what is the difference with samba and nfs?
My aim is to browse and play movies stored in My Book Live Nas, from my TV via network connection (other than Dlna).

Which module should I use?
depends how you share you files in the network... (i have no any knowledge about "My Book Live Nas")

And is this a better option over dlna in terms of tv players functionalities, performance etc ?

Hi

I managed to get a share or NFS or cifs in either in Samba.

I have a UE466500 and VUDUO with 1 TERA HDD connected to the living room D6500, a dream 800HD with 500 GO HDD in another room, my PC and the PC for children.

on my two receivers (VUDUO and Dream) I cifs sharing with each other and the PC 2.

The questions I ask myself:

1 is that it is useful for me to create a share through the hack Samygo, samba or otherwise, since my VUDUO is already shared, and it is conect to the TV via HDMI.

2 what are the other interests of hacks outside the division.

3 what are the SCRIPT to change to have a share in the TV, I tried with samba.init, nfsmount, djmount for unpn, but I always an empty folder.

4 how to make an SSH connection on my D6500.

Excuse my English, and especially the number of question, but it will help me a lot, taking care not to sleepless nights

thank you
