Is there a way to make recordings without the Samsung DRM for the BD-D6900 ?

Yes , Denny 's method for D-series TV-s

All BD-s from D6xxx to D9xxx are Arm arhitecture(Firenze platform)
You can try rooting procedure from "Rooting D series arm cpu models" (in my case use a pached firmware which have Samygo embeded )
Maybe Denny can take a look to your firmware to see...
After rooting, disabling DRM can be enabled or disabled by renaming this file : "01_04_pvr_drm_disable.init" and is not lost on reboot...
