LA40D550 Firmware revert?

I regret so much the fact that only now I found this site.
I have purchased this model LA40D550 not 3 months ago, and was very happy with it.
I stumbled upon an app in the android market called TvCallNotify, which was extremely handy (getting telephone call pop ups and sms alerts on the TV).
And then I made this stupid act and upgraded my firmware from Samsung Global.
I do not know which version I had, but now I know I have Tmst4daac-1021.1
TvCallNotify no longer works (in fact a part of a sub menu that existed in ALLShare is gone!)

Is there anyway I can revert to the older firmware I had, or to enable the message pop ups I had.

I also see that there is a new version available on Samsung
T-MST4DEUC 1026.0
Should I try it?

Not possible. Firmwares are only for upgrading, but not for downgrading. It`s Samsung`s limitation.

Now that I have already updated my firmware, should I consider the new upgrade that's available? Or might it cripple my TV even further?

Have you tried any other new firmware?

I am also trying to find a way to upgrade the firmware of LA40D550 or install any additional application on LA40D550.
But, it seems that LA40D550 is not supported by SamyGO.

I see now that it is possible to downgrade firmware on D series:

Is it possible to do so for my tv (LA40D550) as well?
