Changing a LN46C630 into a C650? Trying to get apps.

Hello!

I have a C630 that I would love to get apps and better media streaming on by turning it into a C650 and getting the better firmware on it!

Anyone have any idea how I would do this?

I have found the model setting in the service menu, but I am unable to upgrade the firmware via USB or internet to the C650 versions that have apps.

I just turned off watchdog and the RS-232 to Debug in case of bricking...

I am not sure I want to "hack" the TV with SamyGo because I'm not sure I really need access to it for anything...anything cool I can do without apps?

Have you ever been able to actually upgrade your tv to a 650?

Or does anybody have any information on this if it's even possible?

You can do this upgrade only one way - by replacing mainboard keeping in mind your LVDS cable connector - if it is not ok for new mainboard, then upgrade is almost not possible.
