Root on UE37C6700

Hi, i am trying now for 2 days to root my TV. I used this manual: http://wiki.samygo.tv/index.php5/How_to ... _series_TV
But I am stock at the point where the files have to been written into the folder "test".

My USB stick is formatted in ext3 and both folder have all rights (777). But there won't be written any files into this folder and I don't know why.

Do you mind to go to FW 3005.1 and do the internet widget hack (this one I recommend)?
Or you can go to 3009.2 / 3011 and do the hotel mode hack.

Which Firmware is what I have on my TV? (Where can I see this?)
Is there a manual on wiki how to put the FW on? I couldn't find any...

I would also prefer internet widget hack with FW 3005.1

To go to FW 3005.1 you have to install FW 0000 and after that 3005.1.
Use google to see change log for each FW. Btw 3005.1 FW later mostly offer only some services according local cable providers.

i recently hacked my UE32C6700 with the latest firmware installed. I followed these steps: viewtopic.php?f=13&t=1076 and everything went fine - Don't forget to read the first AND the third post, otherwise your hack won't be permanent.

Yes, it is nice wiki. Also you have a big chance to brick, or the hack stop working if you do factory reset. Only chance to revert is exlink cable. That's why I recommend the internet widget hack (also easy to remove).

I don't mean the wiki article, I mean the tutorial in the post. I actually don't know on which step you may brick your TV (also I didn't read anyone complaining about bricks in the whole thread), but I think you are more experienced in this point. At least for me, it worked fine. In the end its magicdaves decission...

Ok, now I am almost finshed. But when I want to connect via SSH to my TV, it says this:
