Usb mount looks not working
Re: Usb mount looks not working
You have to use ExLink cable and make /mtd_rwarea formating procedure. Info on the wiki.

Re: Usb mount looks not working
Hello,
I have UE37C6500. Since I had some newer firmware already installed, I have successfully ran through the 'zero' flash procedure and installed the 3005.1. Now after going through the widget installation part I have noticed the same problem as in the subject post. No pendrive pinned to the USB port is being mounted properly.
You have suggested using the ex-link cable, but since I have 2 usb ports (wifi adapted connected to the latter), would it be possible to repair this situation without the 'panic' cable?
Also, what could potentially gone wrong? I have followed the how-tos, used kwrite to edit script files and set the permissions accordingly.
Kindy waiting for your news
Damian

Re: Usb mount looks not working
Hi guys,
Any ideas what could potentially gone wrong during the process? I would like to try again with SamyGo after I reset the EEPROM, but would like to know if it was just a bad luck, or maybe there's something to take a special care of during the hacking? Everything seemed to work until I have put my pendrive to TV, 1st try was okay - Samsung asked how the pendrive should be handled (media player etc.), 2nd time also good, but next tries were useless as from then my TV wasn't mounting the drive anymore.
Also, when trying to unbrick the TV, would something like this be enough for me?:

I don't feel like having enough skills to solder the ex-link cable by myself...
Cheers,
Damian
