This is what i did so far.
Rooted, logged in with developer account then installed hack by setting up ip and synchro.
After it's done i got two new apps "samygo" and "channelinfo" when i executed it it does nothing just black screen and returns to smarthub. then i tried connecting with ftp with port 21 without succes.

I decided to try hospitality mode, setting the rs232 mode to debug, enabled hospitality mode, used the two clone usb to tv as instructed then turned off hospitality mode. executed samygo app with same result and still no luck with ftp.

rs232 mode is still in debug.
I don't have a exlink cable yet, anything i could do?

i can tell you that you installed the widget 2 times and ftp is running on tv on port 21 also http on port 80.
what ftp client you have tested? after you execute the widget wait 2 minutes and try then ftp connection.
you can also try webinterface (see wiki pages)

thnx

I'm on T-GASDEUC 1016.0, Hospitality hack worked ok and SamyGo is installed and running. Upgrading now to another firmware, say for instance 1017.1 would screw things up or not?
Thanks, Nick

If you don't know what to do with webshell, believe me, you don't need netcat shell too :-)

What about ftp... if your ip is static and you're connecting to 21 port it should work. Strange issue.
