Re: Samsung PVR Content Decrypting tool - final
Thanks, man. You are the best! Your Decrypting Tool works perfectly.
Re: Samsung PVR Content Decrypting tool - final
Thanks to everybody. It works perfectly also on my UE32D6500VQXZT with firmware 1018.

Re: Samsung PVR Content Decrypting tool - final
Thanks for that great tool!,
unfortunately, it doesn't work with my tv (UE46ES6710, T-MST10PDEUC-1007.0). I can access the files with UFS Explorer, but if i decrypt the srf file with any technique, which is descripted here, the file could not be played.
Can Anybody help, or can i help to fix that issue?
Big Thanks!,

@medialwerk:I can just tell you the exact procedure which I followed for my TV (UE32D6500VQ - FW1018). Maybe it's not useful for you directly, but it could be useful for less experienced users who don't have much familiarity with "Linux OS" or "file systems" issues:
1) Turn off the Samsung TV. This seems to be a obvious thing, but last time I disconnected my portable Hard disk (a 500GB USB3.0 Western Digital) with my TV in "on" status, I had to format it again (even in Linux environment) in order to use it again.
2) Disconnect the portable hard disk from my TV.
3) On my laptop PC (Sony VAIO VGN-NW21ZF), insert the bootable CD of the "Slax" Linux distribution. Do NOT connect the hard disk to the PC yet.
4) Turn off the PC (full shut down). Connect the Hard disk to your PC now.
5) Turn on your PC (make sure it boots from CD first, in my case it did it automatically). Slax Linux will "install" automatically (no need to make any action) and will recognize your hard disk automatically.
6) Browse to your hard disk folders, copy and paste the whole folders (recommended!) to an easy path on your C: drive (example: C:\TV_Recordings). Make sure the .MDB files are also copied! Wait until copy process is finished.
7) Restart your PC: Linux will eject the CD automatically before reboot is done. Now your PC will restart with Windows 7 OS.
8) Launch the "Destroi" application on your PC. Select the folder where you copied your PVR files before (C:\TV_Recordings). In the UI, select key retrieval: "MDB" and check the "Decrypt AF" box. Press the "Decrypt" icon in order to start the decryption process. In my case, the process takes around 1 minute for a 1 GB file, but I suppose it depends by your PC processor and other factors.
9) The decrypted files will be located in the folder which you set in the top right drop-down menu (you need to select an EXISTING folder or it will fail). The file extension will be .ts, which can be viewed on your PC by using "VLC Player" or converted to AVI or to DVD format (or any other format) by using any tool available on the web.

Re: Samsung PVR Content Decrypting tool - final
Dear all, I have been following this forum for quite some time already with a lot of fun - many thanks!!
But I have still the same problemes as medialwerk discribed above:
All files are copied on my win7 system but after using DeSTRoi 1.3.1 I can't play the "ts"- files. Error code with mplayer is something like this "no video and audio stream could found"
I'm using the same new "ES" TV series as medialwerk - could this be the reason?? A new firmware? The most are using here "C" or "D" series.
Thanks in advance!

Have you tried both "Decrypt AF" ON/OFF?
Have you tried other possibility with decryption key rather than mdb?
Can you generate decryption key manually inside tv and then try non-gui version of pvrdecrypt?

Hi,
I can't get working DeSTRoi 1.3.1. I have new 3DTV PS51E550 with firmware T-MST10PDEUC-1004.1
I've copy all data from USBHDD on which is my recording to PC Win7 HDD with UFS Explorer . Then I try decript my recording, but no success. I have tryed all ways. I do not have rooted TV, so I can get decription key only from mdb file. I have recorded 10 sec. movie, please can anybody try to decript it? In 10sec.7z file are all files which were on HDD after recording. Thanks for cooperate. I hope that this app will be upgraded to work with new E-series.
Once again, thanks
