Any news here? Was it successful? Are you able to flash from 1009 to newer firmware Mario?

Other question: Is there a special SamyGo Firmware for the PSxxD6900 / D7000 series? If so... which positive effects are there compared to original Samsung firmware?

Benny, for MStar Models like ours you have no benefit through an alternate firmware.
For you first Question look at the sticky-thread in hifi-forum

hi, all
in my first post i just want to confirm successful downgrade and installation after that of 1015 firmware.
my tv is ps51d6900 european - i'm from russia

first of all i've installed update via online update provided here to downgrade. it shows me 1090 as version number. but in SM it shows as 1009.1
after that i've rooted as described here http://wiki.samygo.tv/index.php5/Root_a ... cpu_models
so - i've got ftp access to file /mtd_rwarea/Version.0 mentioned by arris69
changed in it firmware version to 1009 and date
after that turned tv off and on and put usb stick with 1015 - it flashes successfully.

victory! :)
thanks to all, who did that downgrade process and rooting procedure!!!
