Hi,
I see that you're fast solving problems

I tried to downgrade for BD HT-D5530 (current version 1014).
It was downloading your firmware, but reaching around 80%, it keeps retrying the download from 0%. After several loops, I got error 800 (resources error).
Then I tried to turn off/on my device, also I tried cold start, but still the same error.

I saw that it was trying to get the version "1112" instead of "1012".. should it be like this?

yes firmware was 1012.2.
hm, we moved the files around maybe it needs some changes in timestamps. can you reset your device pls. (press EXIT button for ~15 seconds) then set dns and coldboot again.

Hi.
well... today i tried again to do it with the DNS... it downloaded ok until 100% then the device restarted.
The samsung logo appeared... then "black screen"... i waited +/- 15 minutes and nothing... restarted it, samsung logo again, and black screen.
Nothing is working... "BD/DVD" appears on the device's display, but nothing on the remote works, unless ON/OFF, the volume and mute (seen on the display)...

What do i do?.. please help..

you ever did an firmware update from samsung server via internet, or just over usb?
what message you get if you try the update with your standard dns?

I'm buy player in UK. Regularly update firmware form via Internet. Standard DNS this same massage.I had previously HTB-D6500EUB-1014.1 , no massage Cinivia.

Just wanted to report that the downgrade for my BD-D6500-AZ was a success. I did use the clear all settings first. Hopefully this forum will help out many more people that were screwed by Samsung and Cinavia.

i have set dns in players network settings as stated in post 1, but all i get is http port is disabled see if it blocked by something internal firewall, but if i set dns back to auto the connection is fine, i have firmware BSP-D5100WWB-1019.3 on my pc but its obviously getting it onto the player.

no logentries from your ip in our servers log files.
try to connect your device direct to your internet uplink, or disable/check firewall settings on your router.

in theory yes, but for now FIR* based devices makes trouble. try it from time to time... (if downgrade fails try it next day again)
