pvr over smb

Hi guys, I would like to use the pvr function (now working fine on my 1st server) over a smb share ( Ineed it because my nas actually does NOT support nfs). I searched in the forum but I didn't find a solution.
Also I read this viewtopic.php?f=12&t=1100&start=10#p10432 but didn't understand...
