Hi, I am new to here and looking for a little help.

I have a tv listed above which was working fine, and just tried to connect a 2nd hand HT-X30 home cinema I just bought. It wouldn't connect to anynet+, but would on my older 42" samsung in the lounge. I then did a quick google and found out how to enter the service menu, thinking it might be an option that was not turned on. Foolish me had a quick browse for anynet, thinking i wouldnt save any settings. I looked at "model" then "tuner". Trying to exit the menu in tuner, i used the side arrow instead of return. This changed the tuner type, and i pressed it a few times trying to exit. I powered off and lost all my digital channels. I don't think i changed the model option, i think it was that one or the one below. I then went back in and tried a factory reset, but still no channels.

I then found this forum, and followed this guide, hoping by changing the model no it might reset my tuner...

It didn't so i thought i would just try all of the tuner types one by one, and see if i could get the right one. After choosing one option, the tv now wont switch on at all, and the led blinks 3 times every 15 secs. I am gutted and from what i have read on other places, 3 blinking red lights means fried capacitors? I'm not sure if i managed to do that or i have destroyed it in some other way. Can anyone help me with my nice black brick? Way out of my depth, and feel stupid for messing with it, at least i can listen to some cds on the home theatre!

HI, you have to reset eeprom and set proper values. This is because you touched tuner setting...
On the wiki here is no your TV model, but hope you identify right chip using examples and info on our site/forum/wiki. Good luck!

Once i fond the right eeprom chip, any idea where i can find the proper settings for my unit, it is a uk tv. Or anyone with the same model care to post a pic of their settings, thanks, allan

not sure what the panel type is though and where to get settings for it if i manage to get it started.

I have Taken out my board, as pictured, don't have a his res camera, so I have circled all 9 8 pin chips as that is what i am looking for? Also the other couloured one is 8 pin but a bit smaller, anyone know which one it is??

Same as 550 above, sweet! Bottom left of Big silver heatsink in my pic.

Just not sure why there is two jumper wires on this one, will find out if i need both and let you know!

All 3 need to be jumped at the same time in the guide above, i used 1 wire- 1 end between the 2 pins, and the other to the opposite pin. Tv switched on, woo hoo! Problem is when i shut it off again to go to service menu, it goes back to 3 red blinks and eeprom has not been cleared i guess, doh!

Model is still showing c530 in contact samsung due to me changing itas in link in 1st post

Starting up now, but need the settings for my tv, anyone know how to find the type and front colour options???
