Software version - HTB-D6500EUB-1015.1

Thanks
Hi Bluebirds,

yes your firmware is the FIRHTBEUC so it should be supported. In fact just follow the steps given in the first post, your HT will know whether the firmware version available on the server will fit your device.

Have fun.
Hey,

Still no joy

I have changed the two dns settings in my router the rebooted it.
Then in my D6750 done a factory reset followed by a cold restart.
Then gone into network settings and changed ip and dns to manual. Add the dns from thread 1 to match my router.
Cancelled the Internet check and back to the menu. Cold restart again.
Once switched back on gone to settings, support and waited for firmware to become available. Clicked and started updating to 1012. Once it hits 86% goes back to zero and starts a loop.

Tried 3 or 4 times and still the same outcome. Also tried with ip as auto and nothing.

Help!!

I managed to download this firmware:

SamyGO Patched Firmwares!!! Features
B-FIRHRDEUC_001107 (success: pending)

Is it ok to install it on my unit, or will it be bricked?

Thanks in advance.
Hey it should be ok, I haven't seen anybody else do that particular version yet, but I dont think you'll brick it unless there is an error in the flashchip. If it is an error in the flashchip and you still have warranty, then samsung should replace the unit as this type of brick could happen with any update.

Let us know how you get on.
It worked I have now downgraded from 1010 to 1007. BUT SamyGo extension can't be installed via the develop accout. It says it's getting installed, but all I get is the BrokenTV app.

So I downgraded for "nothing"?

"SamyGO Patched Firmwares!!! Features?B-FIRHRDEUC_001107 (success: in log yes, user report missing)"

I still have Firmware B-FIRHRDEUC_001007 on my BD-D 8900N.
So for me Firmware B-FIRHRDEUC_001107 SamyGO Patched will be not Downgrade but Update.
Is it possible in my case to download FW 001107 SamyGO Patched by PC to USB, and than to update my FW 001007 using USB?

@hany8

Sorry for the delay, I?m on vacation now, so I can?t send you any screenshots. But I try to remember exactly what I did.

1) Changed IP and dns-server manually in BD, set it off by remote and unplugged for 10 minutes - I have an ethernet-connection via homeplug to my fritzbox (router)
2) set dns-server in my fritzbox both adresses to 46.4.199.222 and restarted it (I had to do this in "profi-mode")
3) plugged BD in, set it on by remote and went straight to Software-Update
4) waited half a minute till Software-Update were highlighted
5) Update then went without Problems and BD restarted
6) set both BD and router back to "auto"

For me the hint was davidx?mentioning that I had to set up both dns-servers in my router to the specific ip-adress. Before that the router always took an alternative one automatically.

That?s all I can say. Hope it?s enough to help.

Good luck.

after you got firmware updated and set your dns to "normal" again, you must start smarthub/samsung apps so you device contact original samsung server and get the information for authentification for rooting widget...

When starting up SamyGo Extensions I got this message: "Extension-Pack is Nested on this Device!"
What does that mean, and what do I do from here?

I have a US (Region 1) BD-D5700ZA running 1028 firmware (6/21/2012). I would like to guinea pig for the downgrade.
