BD Firmware Downgrade (SamyGO Proof of Concept)

Not sure if any of you guys were having a problem with rear speakers not working, but rather then buy a new av setup like I had planned I decided to try the wireless speaker option. It works and I'm happy I don't have to pay around ?500 to replace. ?75 from Currys in the UK. Just a heads up for anyone else in a similar situation.

Hi, I've got an HT-D6500W with firmware 2012/06/12_001011

I'm connecting the blu ray player DIRECTLY to my modem (no router) and manually changed the blu ray DNS to 46.4.199.222

I get error 603 Invalid Parameter - The latest software is not yet available. So I THINK I'm connecting it correctly.

Anyways, I would like to be a guinea pig for a 6500W downgrade, as I have seen others on here downgrade their 6500's with no problems.

Can you tell me which extension pack i have to use for BD-D6900 with patched firmware installed?
And which script (run.sh) to get it running?

you dont need any usb stick for this procedure
install widget with develop account,
install patched firmware
run smarthub--> perform smarthub update (not firmware!!!!)
turn off player, unplug it for 10 mins
turn on, assure network works ... wait 2 minutes....
go to pc and enter http://192.168.0.208/cgi-bin/test.cgi (with your blurayplayer IP)
activate all extensions you need (if not working try to use cable connection)
Virt. USB should be visible in Home-Menu

I want to use HDD of my BD-D8900 as network drive also.
What extensions should I activate?

I Gave up trying to downgrade my BD-D6500 from 001029 frimware and bought a 2nd hand replacement off ebay with 001010 firmware installed.

I'm now considering trying manually updating to 001015 (Pre cinavia i believe) firmware if i can find it online.

Does anyone know if this is possible and if its worth it?

I downgraded my HT D5550 from 001015 to 001012 using procedure here viewtopic.php?f=18&t=4244
. Now its cinavia free. But i have a problem in watching some bluray Movies, "just a white blik(flash light) in the image every 2 or 3 sec and repeating.
If i watch the same in 2d no problem, this is happening in some 3d mode only.

some of the movie with white blink (just like a vertical flash light inside image coming and going) : The ?vengers 3D bluray , DTS Demonstration Disc 16 3d etc
movie without white blink : LG Demo 2012 3d Bluray, Dr. Seuss' The Lorax 3D, tangled 3d

did somebody succeed to downgrade a BD-D5100 ? because I can't get to the server because when I change the DNS, it says to me that I can't get to Internet.
