Another successful downgrade for the BD-D6500 (Downgraded from: BRCM65BSP_001029).

arris69, do you have a zip file containing this downgrade firmware that I can use offline? I want to save it in case someone upgrades the firmware on my player in the future and this service goes offline.

Now that I downgraded and I'm happy with the firmware, is there a way to tell the player to never check and prompt me to upgrade the firmware in the future?

Even if you have this firmware, you can't use it offline. Just only online downgrade is possible.

I will gladly pm you the duid - but is there any way to find out about the SWU_B-BRCMBSP_001028_I05_ES000xS000xS000xS000xS000_120xxx version I have installed, as the 1028 firmware is not available for download at samsung anymore to check? Or would I have to upgrade to 1029 first to be able to downgrade by then knowing and be able to tell you the correct SWU?
A wild guess would it to be SWU_B-BRCMBSP_001028_I05_ES000KS000RS000DS000BS000_120621, could be SWU_B-BRCMBSP_001028_I05_ES000DS000KS000BS000RS000_120621 or something alike aswell though - as you see, I'm only mixing up the numbers from OP,..
