I have successfully downgraded my BD-D5700 with this method. Thanks. I tried the SamyGo Extension install but had no luck. I assume they are not available for my model.

I can not get it to work the my Viaccess card (CI+) (for DVB-T2)

I you make a version that works with the Viaccess card CI+ then I would like to try again. ;)

I downgraded my HT D5550 from 001015 to 001012 using procedure here viewtopic.php?f=18&t=4244
. Now its cinavia free. But i have a problem in watching some bluray Movies, "just a white blik(flash light) in the image every 2 or 3 sec and repeating.
If i watch the same in 2d no problem, this is happening in some 3d mode only.

some of the movie with white blink (just like a vertical flash light inside image coming and going) : The ?vengers 3D bluray , DTS Demonstration Disc 16 3d etc
movie without white blink : LG Demo 2012 3d Bluray, Dr. Seuss' The Lorax 3D, tangled 3d

any help appreciated. Thanks
Same problem here, I downgraded my ht-d5500k to 001012 (cinavia free) and I also have the white blinks on some 3D movies (Avengers 3D BluRay).

Thanks for such a helpful forum.

Upgraded firmware on my BD-C5300 from 1024.0 to 1025.1

Since then not playing any Blu-ray. Sometimes unable to load otherwise hangs and don't even respond to any button.

Needs help to down-grade to previous firmware.

Hi,

Huge problem - My player will not load any more after downgrade. It stays at the welcome screen and the players display shows "LOAD"

I have a BD-D5700/ZC, it had version 1029 before the downgrade today. It detected version 1090, downloaded it and asked if I wanted to install. I hit yes and it asked to restart the player, I hit yes again and it then turned off and then back on. Since then is stays at the welcome screen. BTW, I'm in Canada.

Can anyone help? Can I force the last 1029 firmware through USB or CD on start-up without loading the menu?

Hey Comyc,

the firmware for HT-D5 and HT-D6 series is identical, so you should be able to downgrade using the method described in the first post.
Let us know if it works for you.
